Conciliator fee tariff: Adalet Bakanlığı
How it is calculated
Conciliation lets a suspect or defendant and the victim try to settle certain offences through a conciliator (Criminal Procedure Code Arts. 253–255). The fee follows a tariff the Ministry of Justice publishes each year; the current one is in Official Gazette 31.12.2025/33124, and the tariff in force when the report is completed applies (Art. 7). The responsible public prosecutor sets the fee within the limits, by the parties’ age, education and social and economic situation, their number, the dispute and the conciliator’s effort, and pays it by a spending order (Arts. 4–5). The fee and other conciliation costs are court costs; when the parties settle, the Treasury bears them (Code Art. 253(22)).
