How it is calculated

A cash advance draws cash on your card limit. Unlike a purchase, interest runs from the day you withdraw, and the central bank sets a separate, higher maximum rate for cash. Instalment cash advances carry no fee, and can run for at most 12 months.

FormulaTaksit = Tutar × r′ ÷ (1 − (1 + r′)^−n), r′ = r × (1 + KKDF + BSMV)r: the cash rate; empty means the CBRT maximum 4.25% · KKDF 15%, BSMV 15% · a single-payment advance may carry a fee of at most 1% plus BSMV.

Example

A ₺20,000 cash advance over 6 instalments at 4.25% a month with 15% KKDF and BSMV is ₺4,006.75 a month, ₺24,040.51 in total; the annual cost rate is 90.66%.

Frequently asked questions

How much is the cash advance fee?

Instalment advances carry no fee. A single-payment advance may carry at most 1% of the amount plus BSMV; another bank’s ATM fee may be passed on as well.
