Random Number Generator
Draw as many random whole numbers between two limits as you like, without repeats if you wish, or roll dice and flip coins. Every “Regenerate” gives a new result.

How it is calculated
Everyone sees the same starting seed when the page opens; press “Regenerate” for a new, unpredictable result. Everything is computed in your browser and sent nowhere. The seed is shown with the result: a shared link shows the same numbers, so a draw can be checked later.
Number = Min + R(Max − Min + 1), R(n) ∈ {0, 1, …, n − 1}R(n) is a whole number from 0 to n − 1, each equally likely. The range may be as wide as 2⁵³ (±10¹⁵); rejection sampling keeps every number equally likely.- “Regenerate” takes a new seed from the browser’s cryptographic generator (crypto.getRandomValues).
- The numbers come from the sfc32 pseudo-random generator started with that seed: the same seed always gives the same result, so a shared link shows the same draw.
- Draws without repeats pick distinct numbers with Floyd’s method, then shuffle them with Fisher–Yates so their order is random too.
- A die gives 1 to its number of sides on each roll; a coin gives one of two equally likely sides.
Example
A 6/49 lottery line: set Minimum 1, Maximum 49, How many 6, No repeats and Ascending; each “Regenerate” gives a new line. For two dice pick Dice and How many 2.
Frequently asked questions
Are the numbers really random?
The seed comes from the browser’s cryptographic generator, and the numbers from a generator that passes statistical tests. That is plenty for games, classrooms and informal draws. Do not use it for passwords or security keys; in Turkey, prize draws with non-cash prizes must by regulation be held by a board of the organiser’s officers before a notary (Official Gazette 04.10.2006/26309, art. 18(4)).
How many numbers can I draw without repeats?
As many as there are whole numbers in the range, up to 1,000. From 1 to 49 there are at most 49 different numbers.
Why do I see the same number after reloading?
The page opens with a fixed starting seed, or the seed in the link. Press “Regenerate” for a new result.
Which side is heads?
In Turkish, “tura” (heads) is the side of a coin with the picture and “yazı” (tails) the side with its value, as the TDK dictionary defines them. Both are equally likely here.
